‘7th Heaven’ Father Accuses Soon-To-Be-Ex-Wife Of Covering Up Child Molestation For A Price (Audio)

Well, a lot of 90’s kid’s childhoods were ruined today. Dad and pastor from the hit series “7th Heaven” Stephen Collins is caught on tape admitting to molesting children.  However, the weirdest part is that the tape is  a recording that was secretly made by, drum roll please, his wife (or soon to be ex-wife) Faye Grant during a joint therapy session.

According to TMZ, in 2012 Collins revealed to Grant that he had exposed himself and touched a few underaged girls in recent years before. So as a response, the couple went to a therapist where she hounds him with questions of what exactly happened. Grant’s lawyer told her that it was legal to secretly record the conversation because in California, it is legal if the recording is being done to find evidence of a felony–aka molestation.

Thank goodness for the fact that the victims’ names are protected but does reveal that there is a “list” which triggered the session to start with. The first victim he discusses is an 11 year old New York girl that was related to his first wife. He  states, “There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis,” and then admits to exposing himself to her when she was 11, 12, and 13.  He then continues describing instances of exposure with a LA girl who lived in his neighborhood, and then one final victim is revealed on this tape.

According to TMZ, an NYPD official said that there is a current, active investigation. When Collin’s rep was contacted, they gave no comment.

Update:  According to TMZ, Collins is claiming that his soon-to-be-ex-wife would have covered up his crimes, but for a price. Of course Grant denies the claim but instead suggested that Collins create a trust fund for their daughter and make a contribution to a charity organization that helps sexually abused kids.
