While America gathers around the closest televisions watching Aladdin, grieving over the loss of movie star Robin Williams, Rush Limbaugh shoves his comments through the media. And of course it was nothing nice at all.

In the radio segment on Tuesday, Limbaugh made the following comments about Robin Williams’ suicide:

I think there was, on the part of media and Hollywood, genuine affection for the guy that is driving (media coverage), but there is politics. If you notice the coverage is focused on how much he had, but it wasn’t enough.
He had everything, everything that you would think would make you happy. But it didn’t. Now, what is the left’s worldview in general? What is it? If you had to attach not a philosophy but an attitude to a leftist worldview, it’s one of pessimism and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they? They’re always angry about something. No matter what they get, they’re always angry.”

Limbaugh chose a great time to discuss politics but wait there’s more…

“They’re never happy, are they? They’re always angry about something. No matter what they get, they’re always angry.”

It’s no surprise that most people find his comments not only inappropriate for the situation, but completely offensive. Websites like Complex.com describe Limbaugh as “a terrible person” with “an angry voice” and can anyone disagree after this?  Taking the blame from depression and giving it to a political belief? Rush Limbaugh has to know how ignorant that can come off. However, today he argued that he was shaming liberal media for glorifying his death and not placing blame as he has been accused.

How likely is it that he is telling the truth? What do you guys think?
