Since his 2011 release of Reflections, Jerry has been working feverishly to get back to what he loves. After the death of his mentor and the loss of his loved one, Jerry found hope in his close friend, Kyrie Irving who was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In our exclusive interview with Jerry, he elaborates on his relationship with Kyrie and how the New Jersey native keeps him motivated musically, but when asked if he could be out rapped by NBA start Jerry responds:

“Never. But, the funny thing is that we battle all the time and with him it’s all about being great. If he can challenge me, he’s going to do it.”

He further discussed his love for the 90’s hustle and how Diddy’s Bad Boy & Roc-A-Fella taught him to be Independent.

“The hunger to be successful. The hunger to be independent. If you look at the 90’s you had Diddy, you had Roc-A-Fella. All those people were independent and they are still relevant today.”

With his Transitions EP gaining over 10,000 views in only 3days, we should be expecting a lot more from Jerry.
