Lana Del Rey TOPS the Billboard Charts

Lana Del Rey Ultraviolence

Lana Del Rey’s summertime is not very sad this year. Her sophomore album “Ultraviolence” just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Not surprising after her first album “Born to Die” had people going crazy, awaiting her next move.

Runner up of the week is newcomer Sam Smith. The UK singer’s voice is strangely addicting in his debut album, “In the Lonely Hour.” This voice is the edge behind recent radio hits  “Latch” by Disclosure and Naughty Boy’s “La La La.” And you’ve probably heard his recent hit “Stay With Me,” a twist on one-night stands.

And you would never guess whose album landed in the No. 3 spot. Linkin Park! Who knew they were still around? Their album “The Hunting Party” is their sixth studio album.
