To launch the newest incarnation of the RE:MIX LAB series, Hyundai revealed three custom built vehicles, representing the ultimate in style, design, performance and innovation at its mobile gallery in Downtown Los Angeles last Friday evening.
Guests were invited to explore state-of-the-art gaming systems, revolutionary technology and cutting-edge sound systems amidst interactive performances, top music and tech execs, technology demos and more. The evening began with a grand opening reception followed by special presentations and performances curated to embody the RE:MIX lifestyle.
Seth Combs (CMO & Co-Founder, Sol Republic) shared the stage with Brian Linares (CMO, DimMak Records) as he spoke about the convergence of music and technology and its influence in shaping the EDM sub-culture. Reps from V Squared Labs and digital strategy veteran Ted Cohen (CEO, Tag Strategic) rounded out the presentation programming of the evening, speaking about the their influence on music and technology.
Sound Remedy kicked off the music portion of the night, spinning a dance set that got the crowd pumped for the rest of the evening. Wavves took to the stage and rocked out a set, which included their hit King of the Beach. Tyler The Creator dropped by to support and watch original Odd Future member and collaborator, Casey Veggies as he closed out the evening with a performance that had the audience hollering for more.
