Kanye West surprised a New York City crowd on Wednesday night, bringing out special guest 2 Chainz during a performance at Manhattan’s Skylight at Moynihan Station venue. The event marked the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Note II smart device.

2 Chainz joined Kanye and his two DJs on the sparse stage just as Chainz’s hit “Birthday Song” began to play. After he opened the track, Kanye jumped in to deliver his guest verse on the song. The hour-long set from Kanye included a few of his recent releases like the Cruel Summer tracks “Clique” and “Mercy.” He also dove into some of his older material, including “Jesus Walks,” “Good Life” and “Say You Will.”
