New York, NY – October 17th, 2012 – The night was young and the lines turned corners outside of Santos Party House as fans awaited their entrance into the “Acid Alumni” CMJ showcase presented by Noisey. Performances included Flatbush Zombies, Children of the Night, Bodega Bamz, The Underachievers, and Haleek Maul. Can y’all say “NEW” New York?

Together the acts brought in one hell of a crowd, one that would not budge until the very end of the show as a matter of fact. The energy was at an all time high and, as usual, those faithful front row fans mouthed to the lyrics of their favorite rapper. To say the least, even mosh-pits began to form at certain moments of the show. #fun

In other, less fortunate news, I decided to wear a pair of mint condition Timberlands that I’ve had stashed away for about 6 years and this is what they ended looking like by the end of the night…#damn.
