Seven months ago, New York based rap group, RATKING, dropped a video “Wikispeaks” featuring their rapper WIKI. After seeing the video, Rodolfo Diaz and I decided to meet with RATKING at their studio in Harlem where we conducted a photo-shoot and interview which has now turned into a mini documentary (due out in October 2012). The guys welcomed us into their home for the next few hours to share ideas, showcase music, clothing design, photography, beats, rough draft magazines, and of course rap skills. RATKING are Wiki(rapper), Hak(artist), Sporting Life(producer) and Ramon(producer).

RATKING has now signed a deal with Bronx based recording label, Hot Charity, known for their artist Willis Earl Beal. Hot Chairty has distribution via UK label XL recordings who are known for breaking acts like Adele, Tyler The Creator, Thom Yorke, Radio Head, M.I.A, The xx and more. RATKING’s debut EP WIKI93 drops November 5th on Vinyl & digital on XL recordings/ Hot Charity.
