CitoOnTheBeat talks feature on Jadakiss Mixtape & why he doesn’t consider himself a “Rapper”
In recent interview with CitoOnTheBeat, Good*Fella Radio sat down with Rapper/Producer CitoOnTheBeat to discuss multiple topics including his recent feature on Jadakiss’ Consignment Mixtape.
“I got in the Studio with Jada a few months ago. He got to know I was a producer. He got to hear my sound. … He heard this beat and said, ‘When I hear this record, I hear you. This is Cito on it.’”
CitoOnTheBeat elaborates on his relationship with singer Michael Francis and how “The-Co” was assembled.
“It’s (The-Co) actually a team that Mike brought me into. It’s something that Mike started in 2005. … he turned it into a music thing. He brought me in last year and we’ve been riding since.”
The New Jersey native then clarifies why his passion for Production will always be primary, even though he is taking his career as a solo artist serious.
“I still don’t consider myself a rapper. I am rapping, but I still consider myself a producer. I’m just a producer that can rap.
