Fans have been waiting for one and now the wait is over, R&B’s next teenage has been found in sensation Jacob Latimore. The amazing triple threat has been known for his dance skills, along with his acting in the new BET series “Reed Between The Lines”, and his most amazing voice which has taken over our radios with his hit single “Like Em All” which is available on Itunes. In his busy schedule I was able to catch up with him on tour to discuss he experience with Scream Tour The Next Generation, Music and his love life.

Begin a new artist I know that you have a huge fan base how is it dealing with that?

It’s amazing; it has been growing since I started. It’s great to see the progress and begin on this tour seeing how many people actually know me and my songs. It’s really cool.

As a new artist and this begin your first tour how is it preparing to preform?

It’s a lot of hard work and practice; just begin able to get sleep, getting use to begin on the road every day and just constantly working.

Begin a teenage artist how would you say things in your life are different from a normal teenager? Do you ever feel you miss those things? 

The only thing that is really different for me is not begin able to go to a real school. Yeah, I do think about it and I miss it but I knew what I was getting myself into. It’s definitely something I do miss but I was talking to some adult they tell me I’m really not missing anything.(Laughs)

Now let’s talk about your music, your music is meant to reach out to the younger crowd. What would you say are thing you think about when writing music?  

Actually I don’t write any of my songs but it’s definitely something I will get into. If I did write my own song they would be about things I go through and things around me.

Most people have heard your song Like ‘Em All which originally features Diggy; how was it working with him? 

We actually had discussed doing a record together; it was great working with him the single came out amazing. Then us begin on tour together and performing the single together is also amazing.

Having all of the wonderful fans you have a lot of them are females, now they want to know if you’re single?

(Laughs )Yes I’ am single.

What would you say that you look for in a girl?

I look for someone who is down to earth and just real. Someone who is funny I like a girl that can make me laugh; someone that is cool to hang around.

What has been one of the craziest experiences you’ve had on tour thus far?

Thus far one of the craziest things that has happen would be last weekend after the show. (Laugh) After the show I was on my bus when the next thing I knew a bunch of girls came running on. There was like girl in the bus outside all around it was crazy. (Laughs)

What are things you have going on and we can expect?
You can definitely expect the album begin released sometime next year.  I have a appearance on the new BET show Reed Between The Lines with Traci Ellis Ross and Malcolm Jamal Warner.  You can also check out the single Like ‘Em All along  with the remix featuring Issa and the video, as well as Scream Tour.
