On July 21, 2010 I decided to give my good friend Delgis Mustafa (The ILLZ) another shoot due to the fact that I was extremely disappointed and tired of seeing the images of the prior shoot (sometime in winter 2010) I had with him. I felt the images I took last of him didn’t beckon the visual serenity in which I try to attain with all the subjects I document. The location I chose to shoot at (some of you may know of and some of you may not,I rather keep it that way) is a place where I’ve had some of the most incredible times of my teenage years and quite frankly the greatest place to watch the summer sun go down in NJ. It was there where I felt a sense of liberation and peace, a location I feel best identifies the music of The ILLZ.
